Renew Counseling Center is a safe and supportive space dedicated to helping individuals overcome emotional, psychological, and career-related challenges. Founded by Priscilla Prakash, our mission is to walk alongside people in their journey toward healing, clarity, and personal growth.
Priscilla began her professional journey as a Physics lecturer at St. Ann’s Junior College, Hyderabad, where she discovered her deeper calling to support individuals beyond academics. This led her to pursue an M.Sc in Clinical Psychology from MAKAUT (formerly West Bengal University of Technology). She also holds a certificate in counseling skills, enabling her to offer empathetic and evidence-based care to clients.
To further strengthen her practical knowledge, she completed a 2-month internship at You N Me Counseling Center, working with a diverse range of clients. She is currently undergoing training as a Certified Career Analyst through Edumilestones, which adds focused career counseling to her range of services.
At Renew Counseling Center, we believe that renewal begins in the mind and flows into every area of life. Whether youre dealing with anxiety, stress, grief, relationship issues, or uncertainty about your future—were here to listen, support, and guide.
Let’s take the next step together toward a renewed life.
When I worked as a physics lecturer, I was very passionate about my job, enjoyed teaching by making physics easy and enjoyable. I tried my best to show the children practically the theoretical part according to the availability of instruments. Made the students do all the practicals assigned to them in their syllabus. Now with the internet availability, I made videos of tough topics like Optics, so that students can learn by visualizing.
Now taking up counselling, I am following the same passion. I am very passionate about my profession and have an empathetic heart to listen to my clients. I have a quality of confidentiality, wherein I keep all the details of the clients to myself. I have a non-judgmental attitude towards the clients and maintain good rapport and maintain fidelity with the clients.
I see each individual as unique and precious. I believe that I can add value to an individual’s life by encouraging them, highlighting their good qualities, by giving insights to look into themselves, how equipped they are, and that they can make their own decisions. This will boost their self-confidence, which helps them to do well in their studies or job. As a counselor, I also identify any distortions in their thinking and help them understand their wrong thinking pattern and help them to challenge their thinking and to change it, which helps them to have a better life.
